God is on the Move!
“You’re the God who performs miracles; You display Your power among the peoples” (Psalm 77:14, NIV).
Our God is alive and on the move!
We recently finished a series at our church on God’s Kingdom—understanding God’s design and purpose for His people, and that we are to bring Heaven to earth. If Jesus instructed us to pray, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,” then we ought to take that very seriously!
In Heaven, there is no sickness: we should not accept sickness.
In Heaven, there is no substance abuse: we should not accept substance abuse.
In Heaven, there is no cancer: we should not accept cancer.
The norm—the normal God intended for us, the freedom Jesus won back for us—is health and wholeness (physical & emotional)… and if a supernatural healing is what it takes to bring people to that health and wholeness, then bring on the healing!
Seriously. We have accepted sickness, disease, and defeat from the enemy for far too long—to the point that many are not even aware that God deeply desires to heal us of these things. In fact, I wonder if many have even lessened their theology to justify their lack of belief in what God longs to do. But, friends, God is greater.. and His love for us is stronger than any label from the enemy we may have chosen to accept as normal. God moves when and where His people have faith!
Recently, some of our team was volunteering at a soup kitchen and prayed for Tara, a woman who was diagnosed with Stage 2 cancer. After her appointment the next day, Tara excitedly called to let us know that she was completely cancer-free!
Some of our team laid hands on “Uncle John” whilst praying at the hospital. Uncle John was nearly deaf with very poor hearing, and after the prayer, much of his hearing was restored!
This past Tuesday at our weekly prayer and worship service, we prayed in faith over a man in our church who struggled with searing back pain, and his back pain completely dissipated!
Praise God!!
These are just a few snippets of what God is doing in Johnstown—and what He absolutely longs to do where you are. Listen—it’s time, it’s time right now, to rise up in faith and believe for a sweeping revival that will restore people back to the Father.. Yes, I see a movement so strong and an army so intense that Darkness has no other option but to retreat.. I see a wave of the Holy Spirit indelibly marked with signs and wonders, each strategically bestowed in such a way that Jesus is glorified.. I hear the sound of passionate worship and faith-filled prayers, believing for the salvation of those who have been living in darkness.
Jesus saw us when He said, “Whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in My Name, and I will do it” (John 14:12-14).
Can you see it?
Can you feel it?
If you struggle to believe that God wants to heal and miraculously move in your own city (and maybe even in you personally), then say with all your faith like the man in Mark 9:24, “I believe, and help my unbelief!” You see, faith is quite easy—we are the ones who make it complicated. We like to place all sorts of conditions and clauses in Jesus’ statement above (John 14:12-14), when in fact His statement is quite straightforward. Simply believe. Simply trust the Father’s nature: He is good, and He does good things.
Amen!
Greater things are yet to come.. greater things are still to be done in this city.. We believe!
